New and returning School Volunteer Program applicants can apply to become a school volunteer for the 2024-2025 school year. Our team will work to process applications, as we are aware many volunteers wish to serve on our campus at the start of the new school year.

How do I become a volunteer?
Step 1: Go to volunteerapp.lausd.net.
Step 2: Sign in as a LAUSD parent.
Step 3: Fill out the application for the 2024-2025 school year.
Reminder: TB Test results last 4 years. If your TB test expires, please test again and bring in a copy of the results.
Step 4: Please come into the office to sign the commitment form OR print out the commitment form you signed electronically on your volunteer app.
For NEW Tier II Volunteers: You must submit a TB test, results have to be within 60 days of your application. For example, you apply online on June 1. You must have your TB test results ranging from May 1 to July 1.
For NEW Tier III Volunteers: You will need to go through fingerprinting.
