As an LAUSD Affiliated Charter School, Dixie Elementary follows the district's Unified Enrollment process for non-resident applicants. The lottery process ensures fairness and transparency for all applicants.

Key Dates and Next Steps

1. February 24-28, 2025: Public random lotteries were conducted for affiliated charter schools.

2. February 28, 2025: Lottery results were reported to the district.

3. March 10-14, 2025: Families will receive an email notification regarding their child’s status as "Selected" or "Waitlisted."

4. April 11, 2025: Deadline to accept or decline placement offers on the Unified Enrollment portal (apply.lausd.net).

Wait List Information

If your child is placed on the wait list, their position is determined by their e-Choices online application number and the priorities set by the lottery process. To view the wait lists by grade level, click on the links below:

Important Notes About Wait Lists:

1. Application ID-Based Identification: The wait lists display only your child’s Application ID to ensure privacy.

2. Order of Placement: Wait list positions are determined by LAUSD’s lottery priorities and random selection process.

3. Changes in Position: Your child’s position on the wait list may change if seats become available or as families accept or decline offers.

Applicants will remain on the wait list throughout the school year. If a seat becomes available, the school will contact you directly using the contact information provided in your application.

How to Find Your Application ID

If you need to locate your Application ID to check your child’s status:

1. Log in to your account at apply.lausd.net.

2. Click on "My Applications."

3. Locate your Application ID next to your child’s name.

Please do not call the school office for assistance with locating your Application ID. For technical issues, contact LAUSD Unified Enrollment support.

Additional Information

• If your child is selected for multiple schools, you must choose one by April 11, 2025.

• Not selecting a school by this deadline will result in automatic declines for all offers except those where your child is waitlisted.

• Accepting an offer automatically declines other schools where your child was selected.

• Declining an offer is final and cannot be reversed.
